Meet our xDesigners
Senior Product Designer
“xDesign was my first big break into the tech industry. I came into the role as a bleary eyed junior, eager to absorb as much as possible, and I couldn’t have asked for a better tech education! Over the last three and a half years, I’ve learnt an incredible amount, both in my own discipline, and in the many other professions that make up a digital product team. I’ve been well supported during my growth at the company, as I took on more and more responsibilities, and developed my skill set.”
Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
“With a background in recruiting for the Higher Education sector, xDesign gave me the opportunity to get into the tech sector. I’ve been here for almost 2 years now and they’ve provided me with the support to grow and develop at pace. I’ve learnt so much in the past couple of years and really feel part of something special as we continue to grow. Everyone has a voice here at xDesign and I’ve never been a part of such a collaborative workplace before.”
“xDesign is the most supportive place I’ve worked! There are so many talented people I get to work with and learn from everyday. What’s also refreshing is that everyone is eager to learn from each other and there’s always room for me to give my thoughts and ideas, which makes me feel extremely valued. No matter your job role, you’ll always be encouraged to speak up and be listened to, which is great.”
Director of Technology
“One thing that works well at xDesign is when people take their personal development days to look at something totally different to what they do day-to-day, where they can work with other engineers and learn new skills from each other. It’s particularly rewarding then to see some of these side projects getting deployed and used in teams.”
“Since working with xDesign I have always felt a valued and important member of my team and the company despite my experience level. I have room to strengthen my UX and UI design skills as well as the ability to explore additional interests and mediums such as animation. I’ve always been made to feel that the hard work I put in is recognised and appreciated!”
“xDesign has an amazing office culture, I always look forward to coming in and seeing the team! There’s also a big focus on ensuring a healthy work-life balance, which is something I really value. The regular social activities are a great way to meet new members of the team, remotely and in person, and get to know people outside of project work (and the table tennis table is also a big plus!)”

Unleashing your potential
Own Your Own Potential
Own Your Own Potential is how our xDesigners approach their own performance in terms of growth and development. This framework has organically grown to help develop careers and experience at xDesign, and it encompasses a range of tools and support to enable this growth. Progression and development is very individual at xDesign, and Own Your Own Potential means that you can own the direction of your career, developing specialist skills every day so your career here works for you.
This is our innovation program aimed at exploring new technology and demonstrating how it can be applied to solve client problems. Here you’ll have space to develop new ideas and products, as well as try new technologies and frameworks when you’re in between projects, during quieter times on client projects or you can use your L&D days to spend in xLabs to play with cool new tech. Some examples of recent xLabs projects are: building a generative AI chatbot with chatGPT, developing an internal currency with blockchain, and demonstrating the possibilities of AR & VR.
Learning and Development
We believe that continuous learning alongside personal and professional development is key to growth - as individuals, teams and across xDesign. To enable this, you will have an annual allowance of Learning & Development to focus on learning experiences to support professional growth. We also have a fantastic Learning & Development team who are key to supporting learning across xDesign.
xDesign Campus gives emerging talent the opportunity to gain meaningful experience, grow their skills and accelerate their career path.
